This setup is a little bit unusual in terms of heddles. For the 1st shed I use right pedal for 2nd - heddles attached to the bar. This allows me to weave faster than only using pedals for shedding. At any point if I need I can get rid of them to weave larger passages of simple weave.That's upright Finnish Varpapuu, a little bit modified over the years. It previously belonged to Mr. Alan Rogers who is retired scottish weaver and was his main tool for decades, previously it was used as an art therapy tool in mental health hospital.
